Mija von Mylau is an adorable 11-12 month old German Shepherd mix on the smaller side. This cutie is a great option if you are looking for a friendly smaller pup (~40 pounds) who seems to do well with everyone - people, all-size dogs and even cats.  Before coming to us, Mija was in a temporary foster home who had nothing but good things to say about her: "She is intelligent and knows her basic commands (including Sit, Paw and Down). She is crate-trained and walks right into her crate and sleeps through the nite. She gets along wonderfully with other animals. Mija is CAT friendly.  She got along with all of our cats and played nicely with our larger German Shepherd and our smaller bulldog. She gives some great cuddles and loves to gently put her paws on you. She also does great on car rides." She has also been good in doggy playgroups at the rescue, she happily mingles and would love a playmate, but accepts if a dog isn't interested in playing.  And, since we like to doublecheck, she also passed her small dog and cat testing.  If you are looking for a playful, affectionate and versatile girl, Mija would love to meet you!
